Wide Open Microswitch
- Connect ohmmeter to wide open microswitch connector. See Fig 1
. Ohmmeter should read zero ohm. With throttle valve fully opened, ohmmeter should read infinity. If not within specifications, replace microswitch.

- Open throttle valve gradually until ohmmeter reads infinity. Measure throttle valve-to-carburetor clearance. Clearance should be .24-.28" (6.0-7.2 mm). See Figure
. If clearance is not within specifications, adjust by bending lever. See Figure
. With check completed, install carburetor.
