Vacuum Advance

Remove vacuum hose from 3-way connector and attach vacuum gauge. Apply vacuum gauge while observing breaker plate. Breaker plate should operate with a smooth movement and gauge indicator should remain constant. If vacuum advance performance is incorrect, check vacuum unit, vacuum source and distributor.
