Ignition Coil Resistance
- Remove negative battery cable. Disconnect secondary lead from coil. Remove primary leads from ignition coil. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between primary terminals of coil.
- Check secondary resistance between coil secondary terminal and primary positive terminal. Replace coil if readings are not within specifications. See the IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE table.
