Park/Neutral Switch (Swift A/T)

  1. Engine ECM receives park/neutral gear selection information from automatic transmission ECM on terminal A17. Check input signal by measuring voltage between ground and automatic transmission ECM terminal A17.
  2. With ignition on and transmission in Park or Neutral, voltmeter should indicate less than 2 volts. With transmission in any other gear, voltmeter should indicate battery voltage. Replace park/neutral switch if it does not test as described.
