Air Valve (Swift SOHC)

Remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY in REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION article. Immerse air valve portion of throttle body in water. Ensure air valve closes gradually as water temperature rises. Air valve should be fully closed at approximately 176°F (80°C).
