Cooling Fan THERMOSWITCH

Remove thermoswitch from vehicle. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity is correct across thermoswitch terminals. Thermoswitch may be gradually heated in water for testing. See COOLING FAN THERMOSWITCH table.

⁽¹⁾	Before testing cooling fan thermoswitch, determine if vehicle has an "A" or "B" thermostat. "A" thermostat opens at 190°F (88°C). "B" thermostat opens at 197°F (92°C).
