Ensure idle speed and base ignition timing are set to specification. If necessary, see ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.

⁽²⁾	The A/C idle speed is adjusted by rotating adjusting screw on the A/C Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV).
