Throttle Position Sensor
- Disconnect negative battery cable and TPS connector. See Fig 1
.
- Using ohmmeter, check resistance between indicated terminals. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RESISTANCE
table. If resistance is not as specified, adjust TPS. See ADJUSTMENTS
article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section. If resistance is not as specified after adjustment, replace TPS. For further diagnostic procedures, see TESTS W/CODES
