Ignition System: Distributor: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. If reference mark was not made as described in removal procedure, go to next step.
- Turn crankshaft (clockwise direction) until No. 1 cylinder is at TDC of compression stroke. Align rotor with center of cap bolt hole. Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1

- Install distributor into gearbox. When distributor is fully seated, rotor should point to center of hold-down bolt. Perform STEP 2. See Fig 1

- Ensure distributor is fully seated. Install distributor hold-down bolt. Adjust ignition timing. See ADJUSTMENTS
