Idle Speed & Ignition Timing

Ensure idle speed and base ignition timing are set to specification. Refer to the appropriate IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS and/or the IGNITION TIMING tables in this article. If necessary, refer to the ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
