Removal & Installation

  1. Ensure engine is cool before removing O2S or Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S). Disconnect negative battery cable, and then O2S or HO2S connector.
  2. Remove exhaust manifold upper cover. Remove O2S from manifold. To install O2S or HO2S, coat threads with anti-seize compound. Tighten O2S or HO2S to specs. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Connect negative battery cable. Install exhaust manifold upper cover. After installing O2S or HO2S, start engine and check for exhaust leaks.
