Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor
- Disconnect IAT sensor connector. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between Gray wire terminals and ground. If voltage is not 4-5 volts, check wiring harness for open or short. If voltage is 4-5 volts, go to next step.
- Remove IAT sensor and place it in water with a thermometer. Heat water to specified temperature and check resistance. See INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR RESISTANCE table. Replace IAT sensor if resistance is not within specification.
