TP Sensor Inspection

Disconnect TP sensor connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between specified terminals of TP sensor connector with proper shim thickness gauge inserted between throttle valve lever and stop screw. See THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. Adjust sensor if readings are not as specified.
