Idle Speed & Ignition Timing

Ensure idle speed and base ignition timing are set to specification. Refer to the appropriate IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS table and/or the IGNITION TIMING table in this article. If necessary, see ADJUSTMENTS article for adjustment procedures.
