Battery Specifications
Vehicle is factory equipped with a battery that requires infrequent maintenance. Water does not need to be added, but you should periodically check the battery terminals and battery hold-down bracket for corrosion. Replace with a battery of the same group number as shown on original battery's label.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicles equipped with computers may lose memory data. When battery power is restored, driveability problems may exist on some vehicles. These vehicles may require a relearn procedure. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section.
