Bleeding Precautions

Before bleeding system, the front and rear displacement cylinder pistons must be returned to the top (home) position. A Tech 1 scan tool is required to re-home displacement cylinder pistons. Any stored Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) must be cleared and system malfunctions repaired before performing motor re-home function. Using scan tool, select F5: MOTOR REHOME. The entire brake system should now be ready for bleeding. See BLEEDING PROCEDURES .
