Steering Column: Description

Some models are equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). All models are equipped with collapsible steering column. Upper and lower column sections are joined by a "U" joint. The upper column sliding section compresses on impact. The column lower end connects to the steering gear pinion flange with a flexible coupling.
