Steering Column
NOTE:
Steering column and shaft is not serviced separately. Do not attempt to disassemble steering column assembly. Replace as a unit only.
If vehicle has been involved in a substantial collision check steering column for collapse by measuring upper steering shaft dimension "A". See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . If measurement is not within specification, replace steering column. See STEERING COLUMN LENGTH table. Also ensure upper steering column mounts are not damaged and securely attached.
