Removal & Installation (Esteem & Swift)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. Remove glove box from instrument panel. Remove Powertrain Control Module (PCM) bracket-to-body bolts. Disconnect PCM harness connectors and release air bag harness coupler clamp from PCM bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
