Esteem & Swift

  1. Disable fuel injectors by disconnecting injector harness connectors. Remove spark plugs and inspect for fouling or improper gap. Repair as necessary.
  2. Connect spark plugs to ignition wires. Ground spark plugs. Have an assistant depress clutch pedal (M/T). Crank engine. Check for strong Blue spark at spark plug. If spark is not present, check for faulty spark plug. If spark plug is okay, check secondary ignition wires and ignition coil assembly. See SECONDARY WIRE RESISTANCE  and IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE  . Repair as necessary.
