Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Notes

NOTE: EGR valve on Esteem and Sidekick 1.8L is a stepper motor type and is controlled entirely by PCM. See DTC P0400 in TESTS W/CODES article for diagnostic procedures.
NOTE: Vehicle speed input must be received by PCM on Sidekick 1.6L and X-90 for proper EGR operation. While testing EGR, leave transmission in Neutral with engine running. Block one rear wheel and rotate other rear wheel forward by hand.
