Ignition Timing: Notes
NOTE:
On all models, Suzuki scan tool (Tech1) is used to disable computer and check base timing. On Esteem, scan tool may be used, but diagnostic connector can also be shorted to check timing. See Figure
. Timing is only adjustable on Vitara 2.0L and Grand Vitara 2.5L V6 engine. On all models, if timing is out of specification, check system related parts.
