DTC P0450: EVAP System Pressure Sensor Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects high or low voltage input from Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor (indicating high or low fuel tank pressure). This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated when PCM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:

• Short or open circuit between FTP sensor and PCM.
• FTP sensor malfunction.
• PCM malfunction.
• Fuel Tank Pressure Control Valve (FTPCV) malfunction.
