Preliminary Inspection

Verify customer's complaint. Before performing any testing, perform a visual inspection. On Esteem, check POWER WINDOW circuit breaker (30-amp). On Grand Vitara, Vitara & XL7, check POWER WINDOW fuse (30-amp). On all models, check all power window switches for loose, damaged or corroded terminals as well as damaged wiring and signs of body damage. If no problem is found, diagnose by symptom.
