Bench Testing: Stator

To test stator for an open circuit, use ohmmeter to check all leads for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the stator "1". See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
Using Ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between coil leads "2" and stator core "1". If there is continuity, replace stator. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
