Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Removal and Installation
Removal
1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.





2. Disconnect VSS coupler (1).





3. Remove VSS.

Installation





1. Check O-ring (1) and VSS surface for their flawlessness, apply grease to O-ring and then install VSS to transaxle.
Grease 99000-25010
Tightening torque
VSS bolt (a): 5.5 Nm (0.55 kgf-cm, 4.0 ft. lbs.)





2. Connect VSS coupler (1).
3. Connect negative cable at battery.
