Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Removal and Installation: Installation

  1. Connect the MAP sensor connector to the MAP sensor.
  2. Install the MAP sensor into the intake manifold.
  3. Install the MAP sensor retaining bolt.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the MAP sensor retaining bolt to 4 N.m (35 lb-in).

  4. Connect the fuel rail. Refer to FUEL RAIL AND INJECTORS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
