Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Removal and Installation: Installation
- Coat the threads of the ECT sensor with sealer.
- Install the ECT sensor into the EI system ignition coil adapter.
Tighten:
Tighten the engine coolant temperature sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb-ft).
- Connect the ECT sensor connector.
- Fill the coolant system.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
