DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

1 Did you perform the DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK ? - Go to Step 2. Go to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD II) SYSTEM CHECK .

  1. Observe the Freeze Frame / Failure Records for this DTC.
  2. Turn the ignition OFF for 30 seconds.
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Setting the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame / Failure Records.

Did the DTC fail this ignition?		 - Go to Step 3. Go to Intermittents .
3 Replace the ECM.
Did you complete the replacement?		 - Go to Step 4. -

  1. Clear the DTCs with a scan tool.
  2. Turn the OFF ignition for 30 seconds.
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Setting the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame / Failure Records.

Did the DTC fail this ignition?		 - Go to Step 2. Go to Step 5.
5 Check if any additional DTCs are set.
Are there any DTCs that have not been diagnosed?		 - Go to applicable DTC Table . System OK
