Monitor Strategy Description

Engine speed deviation from the nominal engine speed is monitored when the vehicle is stopped and the throttle is settled after closing. If the difference to the nominal idle speed keeps too high or too low in spite of an activated idle speed controller, an idle speed control plausibility error is detected.
