Fuel Tank Inlet Valve Inspection

Reference: FUEL TANK INLET VALVE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 

• For vehicle with ORVR system
  WARNING: Never open valve wider than 80 degrees. Excessive opening damages valve or return spring.

  Check fuel tank inlet valve for the following.

  • Damage
  • Smooth opening and closing
  • Deterioration of return spring (1) and valve (2)

If any damage or malfunction is found, replace.

• For vehicle without ORVR system

  Check fuel tank inlet valve for the following.

  If any damage or malfunction is found, replace.
