Installation Procedure

Install NEW fuel injector seals.
Install the fuel injector.

Install the fuel injector retainer clip.

Install the fuel injector electrical connector.
Engage the fuel injector electrical connector lock.

Install the fuel rail with fuel injectors to the lower intake manifold.
CAUTION:
Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the fuel rail bolts.
Tightening torque

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Connect the fuel feed pipe quick connect fitting (3) to the fuel rail. Refer to METAL COLLAR QUICK CONNECT FITTING SERVICE .
Install the upper intake manifold. Refer to INSTALLATION PROCEDURE .
