SUBJECT: EXTENDED STORAGE SWITCH and BCM TRANSIT MODE

MODEL(S): EQUATOR (A61640)

YEAR: 2011-

CONDITION: Vehicle has been prepared for extended storage periods and transport.

CAUSE: To prevent unnecessary draw on the battery during dealer storage and transport periods, the Extended Storage Switch has been placed in the "Inventory Position" and the BCM has been initialized to the "Transit mode".

CORRECTION: Both Extended Storage Switch and the BCM are to be put into the "In Service" conditions at the time of customer delivery.
