Transfer Fluid: Replacement: Filling
- Remove the filler plug and gasket.
- Fill the transfer with new fluid until the fluid level reaches the specified limit near the filler plug hole.Fig 1: Filling Transfer With New Fluid Until Fluid Level Reaches Specified Limit Near Filler Plug Hole

Fluid grade and capacity: Refer to [ Recommended Fluids and Lubricants [for USA and Canada] ] (United States and Canada), [ Recommended Fluids and Lubricants [for Mexico] ] (Mexico).
CAUTION: Carefully fill fluid. (Fill up for approx. 3 minutes.) - Leave the vehicle for 3 minutes, and check fluid level again.
- Install the filler plug with a new gasket to the transfer. Tighten to the specified torque. Refer to

]CAUTION: Do not reuse gasket.
