Steering Angle Sensor Calibration (Not Using SUZUKI Scan Tool)

NOTE: If power to steering angle sensor is disconnected, be sure to calibrate steering angle sensor as follows.
  1. Set steering wheel in straight-ahead position.
  2. Connect battery terminals and/or fuse and start engine.
    NOTE:
    • If power to steering angle sensor is shut off, DTC C1075 is detected and ESP® OFF light (1) lights up.
    • If other indicator than ESP® OFF light lights up, other DTC than C1075 may be detected.

      Diagnose the DTC other than C1075 first.

  3. Drive vehicle straight on level ground at 15 km/h (9.5 mph) or above for few seconds without spinning wheels. And confirm that ESP® OFF light is OFF.
