Generator Inspection: Rectifier
- Using ohmmeter, check continuity between the following terminals.
- "B" terminal (1) and each diode lead (3)
- "E" terminal (2) and each diode lead (3)
Check continuity in both directions by interchanging the probes.
Rectifier is normal if there is continuity only in one direction.
If there is no continuity or there is continuity in both directions, replace rectifier.
