Warning Light, Indicator Light Description

There are four types of warning light and indicator light in instrument cluster, which are controlled by ESP® control module. They give warning/indication to driver by changing the modes light ON/blinking/light OFF.

The followings are the condition and operation of warning lights and indicator lights.

WARNING LIGHT, INDICATOR LIGHT DESCRIPTION

Warning light/Indicator light Condition and operation
ABS warning light If abnormality in ABS is detected, the light turns "ON".
EBD warning light (brake warning light)
  • abnormality in EBD system is detected, the light turns "ON".
  • If bake fluid level in reservoir is lower than minimum level, the light turns "ON".
  • If parking brake lever is pulled up, the light turns "ON".
ESP® warning light
  • If abnormality in ESP® system is detected, the light turns "ON".
  • If traction control and/or stability control is activated, the light blinks.
ESP® OFF light
  • If ESP® OFF light turns "ON", to indicate that ESP® control module stops traction control and stability control.
  • If DTC C1075 is detected, i.e., steering angle sensor calibration is incomplete, the light turns "ON".
