Service Precautions of ESP® (Electronic Stability Program)

When disconnecting ESP® control module connector, be sure to disconnect the negative cable at battery since ESP® control module is always turned on electricity by the battery voltage.
When the negative cable at battery is disconnected and reconnected, steering angle sensor loses its calibration point and DTC C1075 is detected and ESP® OFF light lights up.
When the negative cable at battery is reconnected, be sure to perform sensor calibration. See SENSOR CALIBRATION OF ESP®
