1	Fuel pump inspection Remove fuel filler cap and turn ignition switch to ON position. Confirm that fuel pump operating sound is heard from fuel filler port for about 2 sec. and then it stops. Is it in good condition?	Go to Step 2.	Check fuel pump circuit. See Fuel Pump and Its Circuit Check
2	Fuel pressure check Check fuel pressure. See Fuel Pressure Check Is it in good condition?	Go to Step 3.	Repair or replace defective part.
3	Power balance test Check power balance. See Power Balance Test Is it in good condition?	Fuel system is in good condition.	Go to Step 4.
4	Fuel injector circuit check Check fuel injector circuit. See Fuel Injector Circuit Check Is it in good condition?	Go to Step 5.	Repair or replace defective part.
5	Fuel injector check Check fuel injector. See Fuel Injector Inspection Is it in good condition?	Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. See ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION	Replace fuel injector.
