DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was ESP® System Check performed?  Go to step 2. Go to ESP® SYSTEM CHECK .
2  DTC check 
  1. Perform DTC CHECK .

Is there DTC(s) other than C1093? 		 Go to APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING . Go to Step 3.
3  DTC check for 4WD system 
  1. Check DTC for 4WD control module.

Is any DTC(s) detected? 		 Go to APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING . Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck DTC.
Substitute a known-good ESP® control module if DTC C1093 is still detected, see ESP® HYDRAULIC UNIT/CONTROL MODULE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
