Harness - Media Control Unit - Retrofit: Restore

  1. Connect to Toolbox.
    NOTE: Remove any necessary trim for access.
  2. In Toolbox, select MCU Cloner > MCU Restore  .
    NOTE: If the MCU backup failed in the "Backup" section of this procedure, in Toolbox, select MCU Restore from IC  to restore the MCU files.
  3. Update the vehicle firmware. See Firmware Update .
    NOTE: Make sure that the MCU is not in Factory Mode  before installing firmware.
  4. If the MCU backup failed in the "Backup" section of this procedure, in Toolbox, select Reset Remote Unlock Security Key > Start  .
