Alignment Requirement - Suspension: Notes

Use the following tables to determine the suspension alignment requirement according to the service performed on the component.

FA

Indicates that a Full Alignment  is to be performed. Add the full alignment as a separate activity to the Service Visit. See FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK AND ADJUST (AIR SUSPENSION)  or FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK AND ADJUST (COIL SUSPENSION)  as appropriate.

AC

Indicates that a vehicle test drive  is to be performed. Perform the test drive at road and highway speeds to determine if an Alignment Check  is necessary. If the test drive shows the vehicle to track poorly or pull to the side, or if steering is sloppy or off center, then perform a four wheel alignment check  . Add the alignment check as a separate activity to the Service Visit. See FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK (AIR SUSPENSION)  or FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK (COIL SUSPENSION)  as appropriate.

NA

Indicates that No Alignment  is necessary, or not applicable.
