2nd Generation: Disconnect

WARNING: If the 12V power supply is disconnected, do not attempt to open the front doors with door glass in closed position. Failure to follow this instruction could result in door glass shatter.

NOTE: Before disconnecting the 12V power supply, make sure that the driver's door window is fully open. Failure to follow this instruction could result in vehicle lockout.

Open the front trunk.
If the vehicle is charging, remove the charge cable.
On the touch screen, power off the climate control system, and wait at least 30 seconds for the climate control system to completely shut down.
Make sure the vehicle is in Park.
Fully lower all door windows to avoid glass shatter and door lock out conditions.
Remove the HEPA filter outlet duct Duct - HEPA Filter - Outlet (Remove And Replace) .
Unlatch the driver's door and any door that might need to be opened during the service procedure.
Turn off vehicle power from the touchscreen by touching Controls > E-brake & Power Off > Power off .
Disconnect the 12V battery ground connection (torque 5 N.m).

Disconnect the first responder loop.
CAUTION: Do not cut the first responder loop.

Wait at least 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge.
