2nd Generation: Remove

  1. Open the liftgate and LH rear door.
  2. Disconnect 12V power DISCONNECT 12V POWER .
  3. Remove the trunk floor carpet Carpet - Trunk Floor (Remove And Replace) .
  4. Remove the liftgate rear wall trim Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall (Remove And Replace) .
  5. Remove the LH C-pillar lower zone bracket Bracket - C-Pillar - Lower Zone - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  6. Remove the fasteners that secure the rear body controller to the body (torque 3.5 N.m).

  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear body controller.
  8. Remove the rear body controller from the vehicle.
