- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Put the vehicle in Service Mode. See Service Mode (Enable And Disable)

- Disable the "Speed Limit" on the touchscreen: Touch Service > Service Settings > Remove Speed Limit

- Open the alignment portal: Touch Service > Chassis > Applied Offset

- Record the Applied Offset Value.

- Move the vehicle to a flat area with 500 m of space.
NOTE:
The vehicle will need to exceed 10 mph within 500 m for the test to complete.

- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect)

- In Toolbox, click Actions/Autodiag
, and then search for "TEST-SELF_EPAS_X_STEERING-CENTER-OFFSET-SERVICE".

- Click Steering Angle Offset Detection Test for Service
, then enter the "Applied Offset Value" recorded earlier, and then click Run
.
NOTE:
The vehicle will need to be in position before starting the test.
CAUTION:
Turning the steering yoke/wheel over 200 degrees will end the test.

- Drive the vehicle straight.
CAUTION:
The vehicle will need to exceed 10 mph within 500 m for the test to complete.

- Stop the vehicle and end the test.
NOTE:
Turn the steering yoke/wheel over 200 degrees to complete the routine.
NOTE:
Output message will indicate "pass" or "fail". If test fails, then the vehicle will require four wheel alignment check and adjust. See Four Wheel Alignment Check And Adjust if the test failed.
