Primary Coil Resistance

Isolate coil from remainder of system. Connect an ohmmeter, set in x1 range, so leads touch coil positive and negative primary terminals. See Fig 1and Ignition Coil Resistance table.

Use an ohmmeter, with ignition switch turned "OFF".
