Fuel Enrichment System (MR2)

Because of the added engine load which occurs during air conditioner operation, it is necessary to enrichen the fuel mixture. The ECU controls a vacuum switching valve, which cuts off the intake manifold vacuum signal to the fuel pressure regulator. This increases fuel pressure at the injectors.
