- To check temperature switch No. 1, drain radiator coolant and remove switch. Place switch in water below 109°F (43°C) and measure switch continuity. Ohmmeter should indicate continuity. Heat switch to above 131°F (55°C) with water. Ohmmeter should indicate infinity (no continuity).
- To check temperature switch No. 2, drain radiator coolant and remove switch. Place switch in water below 43°F (6°C) and measure switch continuity. Ohmmeter should indicate continuity. Heat switch to above 64°F (18°C) with water. Ohmmeter should indicate infinity (no continuity).
