Cold Start Injector Time Switch Test
- Unplug cold start injector time switch connector. For cold start injector time switch location, see appropriate illustration in THEORY/OPERATION article.
- Using ohmmeter, check resistance between terminals "STA" & "STJ" at appropriate temperature. See Fig 1. Refer to COLD START INJECTOR TIME SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS TABLE. There should be continuity between terminal "STA" and ground. Replace switch if not within specification.
NOTE:
"STA" terminal is fed current from ignition switch during cranking. "STJ" goes to cold start injector.
