EGR Gas Temperature Sensor
- Remove sensor from side of EGR valve. Place threaded end of sensor and thermometer in container of oil. See Fig 1.
- Attach ohmmeter to sensor terminals. Heat oil and note resistance at specified temperature. See EGR TEMPERATURE SENSOR SPECIFICATIONS table. Replace sensor if not within specification.
